Florida water is a cologne (aromatic oils mixed with an alcohol), commonly used in folk magic practices in Latin cultures and creole cultures.
This includes Hoodoo, but it is not exclusive to Hoodoo.
Named after the legendary "Fountain of Youth" once believed to be in Florida, rather than the US state itself; "florida" also translates from Spanish to mean “flowery” or “full of flowers”.
It is not part of a closed practice, meaning no initiation is needed to use it.
Like with all things spiritual, just make sure you come correct.
It can be used as a wearable cologne, an aftershave, muscle rubdown, or cooling astringent to tighten pores and soothe tired feet. to bless and cleanse a space, or as an offering.
