So often we seem to only celebrate those we care about after they are passed. We tend to “give people their flowers” long after they have left us.
Textures and florals are the main focus of this piece. With basket weaving being a huge part of my heritage, I played with those textures and explored the idea of presenting the flowers in a basket.
